Welcome to Thursdays Scouts
Scouts is for young people aged 10½ to 14. At 1st Worthing, our Thursday Scout troop takes on real adventures — developing leadership, resilience, and practical skills that stay with them for life.
Age Range
10½ to 14 years old
What We Get Up To
Scouts tackle everything from overnight camps and expeditions to first aid, cooking, navigation, and community volunteering. They work towards the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, activity badges, and the top award in Scouting — the Chief Scout’s Gold Award.
